Greyhound Stadium
Opened in 1932, ‘Catford Dogs’ was a thriving greyhound track attracting the rich and famous of South London. It lost a good deal of custom in the early 60’s with the legalisation of betting. Closed in 2003, the site is now being redeveloped to hold 588 new flats.

The dog track sat empty for almost a decade, a shadow of the lively attraction that it once was. The redevelopment is being met by mixed feelings amongst Catford Residents.
